In May 2007, the business acquired the distribution rights for its Fleet Manager range of products from Siemens VDO and bought Siemens VDO’s UK-based fleet management and commercial vehicle outfitting businesses, including the Datatrak product range and network. These transactions significantly strengthened OMNiBRIDGE’s international distribution network for its products, giving the business a truly global footprint.

In October 2007, OMNiBRIDGE was acquired by TeliMatrix, the holding company of a leading vehicle tracking and recovery company, Matrix Vehicle Tracking. The acquisition by TeliMatrix has brought OMNiBRIDGE one giant leap closer to achieving its vision of becoming a leading global provider of information and related services for all mobile assets.
